RESOURCES

This webinar is designed for healthcare providers seeking to deepen their understanding of the gut-brain connection and its influence on children, particularly those who are neurodivergent, including those with autism and ADHD. Participants will explore how diet and gut health impact behavior, cognition, and overall well-being in these populations. The session will cover the latest research on the gut-brain axis, the role of key nutrients, and practical approaches to addressing sensory sensitivity and selective eating challenges commonly seen in neurodivergent children. Attendees will learn to integrate evidence-based dietary strategies into care plans, fostering improved outcomes for their patients.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be equipped with tools to assess and apply gut health interventions, ensuring a holistic approach to supporting neurodivergent children’s growth and development.

The participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the key components of the gut-brain connection and their relevance to neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD.
  2. Assess the impact of dietary factors on gut health and its influence on behavior and cognition in children.
  3. Apply evidence-based strategies to integrate gut health and nutrition interventions into care plans for all children to support improved outcomes.
