Your username is your email address. Set your own, unique password by clicking on the “Reset Password” button on the Accessing Your Course page. Existing users may reset their password at any time during their course by clicking on the “Lost your password?” link button on the Log in page (under the Settings button on the main menu)

Please follow the steps below to set your password:

  1. On the Accessing Your Courses page, enter your email below in the field beside “Username or email”
  2. Create your own, unique password by clicking on the “Reset Password” button below
  3. You will receive an email from TalkTools University containing a link to reset your password
  4. Click on link in email – this will redirect to password reset
  5. Enter your own, unique password
  6. Enter your updated password
  7. Hit “Reset Password” button
  8. Log in in with your email and password — click “Log in” button
  9. You will redirected to “My Courses” page where “Active Courses” and “Completed Courses” tabs are now available

NOTE: You may update your password at any time during your course by clicking on the “Lost your password?” link on the Log in page (under the Settings button on the main menu)  

You have 12 months after course start date to complete your course

As outlined on Accessing Your Course, your first step is to watch the video lessons associated with the course you have purchased. Be sure to incorporate any additional materials you have purchased (practicum, handbooks, etc.). After watching the video lessons for the course, go to your course link under “Active Courses” tab — the TEST and SURVEY links are found here. After opening TEST, it is recommended that you review the buttons at the bottom of the test prior to beginning your test (SAVE, COMPLETE, RESTART)

  • If you are not ready to submit your test, click on the “SAVE QUIZ” button — this allows you to return to the quiz where you left off.
  • If you are ready to submit your test, click on the “COMPLETE QUIZ” button — after completing the TEST, your score will then appear. A passing grade of 80% or higher is required in order to move to the next steps.
  • If you DID NOT get 80% or higher and would like to start the test over, click on the “RESTART QUIZ” button.

Once you have completed your TEST and received 80% or higher, click on the SURVEY link on “MY COURSES” page. After submitting the survey, you will receive a confirmation email with information on final steps to complete your course:

— click on SURVEY link in your course
— click “COMPLETE LESSON”
— your course will move to “Completed Courses” — where you can find and download your CERTIFICATE!

For lengthier courses, videos are broken out into sections. Each section/video is considered a “lesson” within each course (tests and feedback surveys are considered lessons also). Once you have completed watching a video within your course, click on the green “COMPLETE LESSON,” then click on “Back to “VOD” link — this will direct you back to your course material. You may then proceed with watching the remaining videos. TEST and SURVEY are considered lessons. You will also see a progress bar on your course page to monitor your learning activities.

After watching the course, go to your course link under “Active Courses” tab — the TEST and SURVEY links are found here. After opening TEST, please review the buttons at the bottom of the test prior to beginning your test:

  • If you are not ready to submit your test, click on the “SAVE QUIZ” button — this allows you to return to the quiz where you left off.

Once you have successfully completed your TEST with 80% or higher, click on the SURVEY link on “MY COURSES” page. After submitting the SURVEY, your course is considered completed and will move to the “COMPLETED COURSES” tab.

  • Go to Settings button on main menu and log out of your current session and log back in
  • refresh your screen

After completing the TEST with a score of 80% or greater, submitting your SURVEY, clicking “COMPLETE LESSON” on the survey page, your course is considered complete and will move to the “COMPLETED COURSE” tab. To access your certificate of completion, go to the “COMPLETED COURSES” tab. Click on the “VIEW CERTIFICATE” button to view and print your certificate.

TalkTools LEVEL TRAINING PROGRAM

ASHA MEMBERS: TalkTools will file CEUs with ASHA only for learners who have completed their course AND submitted the CEU SURVEY Lesson.

2-STEP PROCESS TO COMPLETE YOUR COURSE — PLEASE READ!

  1. Complete Survey Form, then click “Submit” — you will receive a confirmation email that you have submitted survey
  2. Click on “Complete Lesson” button
  • Review submission confirmation email from continuingeducation@talktools.com to ensure survey has been submitted. The course is considered “Complete” when all lessons (VIDEO, TEST, SURVEY) are completed and the course has moved to “COMPLETED COURSES” tab under “My Courses.”It is the learner’s responsibility to: 1) submit accurate information on the CEU survey in a timely manner; and 2) ensure your course is complete. 

The month AFTER the end of each calendar quarter, TalkTools will submit CEUs to ASHA for online/self-study learners who have COMPLETED their course and submitted their CEU SURVEY.

Calendar Quarter Schedule:

  • Calendar Quarter 1 = January 1 – March 31
  • Calendar Quarter 2 = April 1 – June 30
  • Calendar Quarter 3 = July 1 – September 30
  • Calendar Quarter 4 = October 1 – December 31

NOTE: Please allow approximately 30 days after end of the calendar quarter for CEUs to be reflected on your registry
