Jill is a President/Owner, Speech Language Pathologist of Playworks Therapies. She has a degree of BA – Communication Science and Disorders and MA – Communication Science and Disorders.

Jill Motsett Maliszewski was born into a military family in Peoria, Illinois, and although she has lived many places, including Canada and Mexico, she and her family call Jacksonville home. As a teenager, Jill babysat for a hearing impaired child; thus began her interest in the world of communication. She received her BA in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University, and her MA in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Central Florida.

Jill has dedicated greater than two decades to providing services to children with special needs. She provides evaluation and treatment for a variety of speech/language and communication disorders. Jill has experience working with children with hearing loss, autism, Down Syndrome, cleft palate, developmental delays, Apraxia of speech, auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, oral motor/feeding issues as well as children with augmentative/alternative needs. Her genuine love for serving the pediatric population continues to be her passion. Her training in apraxia is extensive and contributes to her success with treating childhood speech disorders. Her interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders is reflected in her desire to facilitate communication between children with Autism and their family members and peers. Her dedication to the speech pathology profession is sincere as Jill continues to provide mentoring and supervision to graduate students completing their clinical internships.
