Ortega, Cristi

Beyond Words Speech and Feeding Therapy, LLC is owned by Cristi Ortega. Cristi is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a state licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. She grew up in Miami and is fluent in English and Spanish. Cristi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University in New Orleans and then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida International University. 

Cristi is passionate about working with children and helping them reach their full potential.  With nearly 20 years of experience, she has had the opportunity to work professionally with children presenting with Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Receptive and Expressive Language Impairments, Auditory Processing Disorder, Autism, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, and Fluency Disorders.
