Eddy is a bilingual, fluent in both Cantonese and English. Since 2007, he have been employed as a speech therapist in Hong Kong. Throughout his career, he have developed a particular interest in childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
In 2014, he embarked on an MPhil program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) where his research focused on CAS among Cantonese-speaking children. He successfully completed his MPhil and currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
His professional experience encompasses various research and educational endeavors. These include securing both internal and external grants, publishing and reviewing articles for academic journals, presenting at local and international conferences, organizing conferences and symposiums, teaching at the university level, delivering talks at continuing education seminars and workshops, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects, as well as overseeing student clinicians during their clinical placements.
